St Mary's Church.

In 1123 Robert de Newburgh, Earl of Warwick, founded St Mary's Church on its present site and established the College of a Dean and Canons. Part of the Norman building can be seen in the crypt.

The chancel vestries and chapter house were rebuilt in the 14th century by Thomas Beauchamp, Earl of Warwick, and represents one of the highest peaks of English Gothic architecture.

The glorious Beauchamp Chapel, unique in England, was built in the 15th century to house the tomb of Richard Beauchamp, Earl of Warwick. It is a magnificent example of European ecclesiastical architecture of its time and ranks as one of this country's greatest treasures. Also of great interest are the tombs of Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester, and his brother Ambrose, Earl of Warwick.
